Copper and copper alloy products is the general name for things like copper and copper alloy plates, strips, pipes, rods and wires, etc., made using either hot or cold deformation processing such as rolling, drawing, extrusion or forging, etc., and because they have excellent electrical and thermal conductivity, they are used widely in various electrical and electronic devices, and in the automobile and energy transmission areas.
Furukawa Electric leads the world with high productivity, short delivery times and high quality due to uniform production from casting to final products, including being the first company in the world to succeed in the manufacture of oxygen-free copper in a shaft furnace. In addition, Nikko Works is manufacturing copper and copper alloy products with renewable energy from the company’s own hydroelectric power, also contributing to the realization of a sustainable low carbon society.

Our Products

Copper strips

Copper strips are copper and copper alloy products made by rolling the metal out thinly, and are supplied in coil form. They are used in electrical and electronic equipment connectors and semiconductor lead frames, etc.

Copper rods

Copper rods are copper and copper alloy products made by extrusion, drawing or forging, and are supplied in straight form. They are used as conductive materials such as bus bars.

Copper wire

Copper wires are copper and copper alloy products made by drawing the metal out thinly, and are supplied in coil form. They are used as pin materials in conductors and wire harnesses for automobiles.

Copper pipes

Copper pipes are copper and copper alloy products processed in a hollow form by drawing, etc., and are supplied straight or in coil form. They are used as the heat exchange pipes in air conditioners and as refrigerant pipes, etc.
