Winning of the Industrial Science and Technology Policy and Environment Director Award of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry

Mr. Yukio Matsui, who is a member of Furukawa Electric Advanced Engineering Co., Ltd. a subsidiary of Furukawa Electric Co., Ltd. won "the Industrial Science and Technology Policy and Environment Director Award of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry" as "a management contributor of a proper measurement control business place" on November 1st　2013. A celebration event and an awards ceremony were held at the hotel Intercontinental Tokyo Bay on November 1st 2013.

Reasons for award:

  1. A person who is a certified measurer full-time staff of a proper measurement control business place which has received the award from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry as an excellent proper measurement control business place.
  2. A person who promotes a proper measurement control, conducts his/her duties in good faith and whose achievement is remarkable.

This is the award for the person who has been committed to the operation of the measurement system for many years as a member of national certified examination committee for the weighing and participated in international conferences on legal metrology weighing, and whose achievements are recognized as remarkable. For this year period, 13 people were honored in the whole country. Among them, 3 "management contributors of a proper measurement control business place" were honored in this year, in the whole country.
