Although the Furukawa Electric Group has long since been involved in a range of community-based social contribution activities, we intend to step up activities even further and fulfill our responsibilities as a member of society in the future, focusing primarily on three newly determined targets; nurturing future generations, promoting sport and culture and living in harmony with the environment and local communities.

Furukawa Electric Group Basic Policy on Social Contribution Activities
The Furukawa Electric Group will continuously undertake social contribution activities focusing on nurturing future generations, promoting sport and culture, and living in harmony with the environment and local communities, in addition to its business-related activities, in order to maintain and strengthen community ties built over centuries and create a better tomorrow for future generations.
