OFS has a corporate heritage in EDF going back to 1989. Today, with over thirty EDF products and more than 20,000 kilometers shipped over the past ten years, OFS has the industry's broadest EDF portfolio, which will now be known as the RightWave™ EDF Product Family. This product family includes the successful flagship EDF MP980 that is a desired choice for erbium doped fiber amplifier (EDFA) product designs worldwide, while other products within the portfolio are geared towards amplifiers operating in the C-Band and L-Band.
