Environmentally sensitive material

• Prevents the creation of dust because it is not a fiber material that is usually used for heat insulation.

• The material is not subject to sick-house restrictions. The adhesive is water-soluble, so you do not need to worry about volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

Heat-insulating material that does not absorb water or moisture

• Unlike fiber heat-insulating materials, FUNEN ACE does not absorb water. Absorbed water can lead to internal condensation, cause the heat insulating material to fall off under its own weight and allow mold and microorganisms to develop.

Lightweight and easy to process

• Compared to fiber heat-insulating materials, FUNEN ACE is lightweight and can be easily cut and processed in other ways.
• We recommend the optimum thickness, taking into consideration the heat-insulating performance necessary for preventing condensation, based on the temperature difference between the outside air and inside the duct.
• Currently available fiber heat-insulating materials are 25 mm thick. On the other hand, FUNEN ACE is thinner, it saves spaces and it is lighter, thereby reducing total costs.

Certified for its flame-retarding performance

• FUNEN ACE product compounded with steel plate has been certified by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport as a flame-retarding material.
  It is recommended that you attach FUNEN ACE to metallic ducts.

Also suitable for repairing duct heat-insulating materials

• Depleted heat-insulating material is prone to internal condensation, which leads to rupturing and peeling due to the weight or the accumulation of dust on the surface and the wire mesh.
• FUNEN ACE can be attached easily just by removing the exfoliate paper, so it is easy to use when conducting repairs.
