VISCAS Corporation Business Reorganization (Additional Information)
Today, VISCAS Corporation (VISCAS), Fujikura Ltd., and Furukawa Electric Co., Ltd. together announced that they have begun to discuss reorganizing VISCAS. Furukawa Electric has provided the following additional information on the matter at hand.
Additional Information
VISCAS focuses on business fields for Japanese power companies. Only these business fields will be subject to the reorganization the three companies are currently considering. Furukawa Electric will continue business as usual for customers other than Japanese power companies, including its underground and undersea power transmission line, power distribution line, and overhead power transmission line businesses.
