Notice of Copper Wire Prices Revision
Furukawa Electric Co., Ltd. Electric Conductor Division will revise the selling prices of copper wire products as follows
Applicable products: | The price revision applies to all types of copper wire products (copper wire rods, copper drawn wire) |

Effective Date | The new price will be effective from the deliveries on November 1, 2014 |
Reason for revision: |
The product cost has continued to rise due to increase of energy costs such as electricity rates and fuel costs especially since the Great East Japan Earthquake Disaster. In addition, the rise in fuel prices leads to increases in transportation costs, and together with shortage of labor and transportation vehicle in the logistics industry, it is forced to approve increase of transportation vehicle procurement costs in order to ensure stable distribution. |
