Happy New Year! I hope that all of you, the Furukawa Electric Group employees spent a wonderful New Year holiday with your families.
Prioritize safety in all business activities
Everyone has gained a strong awareness of daily safety due to Go-anzen-ni! greetings, our oaths to ensure ZERO accidents, and other daily activities. As the first in Japan to declare safety first at Ashio Copper Mine, the Furukawa Group has a long history and tradition of valuing safety above all else. This year I would like all of you to once again gain a new awareness of prioritizing safety in all business activities.
Monozukuri with one's full heart and soul
The Furukawa Electric Group exists today thanks to customers' high expectations for us and of course due to them selecting Furukawa Electric products out of the many products available on the market. In order to reward customers' expectations, we need to truly put our souls into manufacturing products. Monozukuri with one's full heart and soul means working hard every day to deliver products that offer the best safety, quality, cost, and service. This year, let's really pin down the foundation for manufacturing marketing and quality and throw ourselves into monozukuri with one's full heart and soul.
Our five core values serve as the fundamental principles
Whether or not we can promote our new medium-term management plan, realize unwavering growth, and bring our corporate group to new heights depends on all of us working. Our individual actions are based on the principles and values we have built up over many years. Our five core values are integrity, innovation, addressing reality, ownership and speed, and collaboration. If something should change or if you feel lost or concerned, simply come back to these core values. As long as we act according to our core values, we are sure to achieve our goals.
In order for our products and services to make the world a brighter and happier place, it is important to keep ourselves safe and healthy, work together with each other in high spirits every day, and return home with a smile to our families. I am looking forward to seeing your happy faces again this year.
