Furukawa Electric Co., Ltd. has been chosen among the “Top 100 Global Innovators 2018-19” by Clarivate Analytics (headquarters: Philadelphia, U.S.A.; Japan office: Minato-ku, Tokyo), which is a globally leading information services provider. This follows on from last year, when we were also chosen among the Top 100 Global Innovators.
Background
In receiving this award, Furukawa Electric was recognized for our success rate, based on our patent registration rate, as well as our global reach, as displayed by our global patent application rate. In addition, the award recognizes the influence of our company on other companies in terms of the frequency with which we are cited in the patents of other companies. Looking ahead, we will use intellectual property to protect our new technologies, which will provide us with future business, and we will continue to strengthen and develop Furukawa Electric business.
